Bedford game

Bit of a shocker really. We did well to come back but our handling errors were embarassing at times. I wonder what sort of side we will pick for Friday.

Whatever the side is, I hope they're a bit more co-ordinated than Sunday's team. Didn't look as though they'd been introduced, let alone trained together. Also hope they're a bit more motivated. I thought some of the more experienced guys were just not bothered.  Positives: er...well, Oli and Darryl made a quick impact when they came on. And if we have to kick when we finally get possession, at least kicking high for Goble to chase made sense. Bit more experience and he might be as effective as Andy Savage under the high ball. Presumably the coaches do the stats on how often kicking possession, in attack,  actually has a positive result. Would be interesting to know - my feeling is "hardly ever".
